Uninsured Motorist Collections

The most unpleasant words a subrogation specialist can hear are “uninsured motorist”! Stumbling blocks such as inaccurate address information, unavailability during daytime hours and reluctance to answer correspondence make the pursuit of these recoveries a time consuming, costly process. These factors make the rate of recovery for uninsured motorist claims extremely low, while the cost of pursuing these claims is extremely high.

The Norych Law Group’s Uninsured Motorist Collection Program is designed to remove this burden from insurance company subrogation departments. Many large insurance companies have opted to utilize NLG’s program as their primary source of UM subrogation. As soon as a claim is identified as a UM claim, it is forwarded to us for recovery.

The Norych Law Group attacks the problem directly and takes a strong stand against uninsured motorists. We have the ability to perform skip tracing at no cost to the client where individuals have relocated. We send a strong demand letter on our law firm’s letterhead which conveys your serious intent in pursuing recovery. If we don’t receive a timely response to our letter we initiate a telephone campaign. Using state of the art equipment, we make day, evening and weekend calls to maximize our ability to make contact. It’s no secret that a law firm, especially one that is relentless in its pursuit, will have more impact than either an insurance company or collection agency.

Our collectors, many of whom are licensed adjusters, are highly trained in resolving both negligence and contract based claims. This extensive training and background enables our collectors to overcome objections that adverse parties make regarding liability issues. Issues regarding liability are usually the single most common barrier to resolving UM claims where assets do exist. The result is that NLG settles a larger percentage of claims in-house.

The Norych Law Group has the capacity to handle large volumes of claims in its UM Collection Department. We accept claims by mail, fax, e-mail or electronic transfer and can communicate with clients in any manner that is most efficient for them. We are here to make the recovery of UM claims as simple as possible to maximize your subrogation recovery.

Our fee for recovery of claims in our UM Collection Program is TWENTY PERCENT (20%) of all sums recovered on claims forwarded within eight months of the date of loss! For older claims our fee is TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT (25%). With greater expertise and more clout, The Norych Law Group, LLP should be your first choice when outsourcing UM claims for collection.
